Longnose Leather is not your ordinary workshop.

Based in Sweden, we offer our customers an insight into how their personalized items are created. Every order is handmade from carefully sourced leather, using a range of traditional and modern techniques, from robust sewing patterns to laser engraving and cutting.

Our interactive Twitch stream helps fund our small business while providing our international audience with an educational experience like no other. From coming up with custom designs to constructing every piece with care and precision, Longnose Leather invites you into the fascinating world of leatherworking.

Simon – or as he’s more commonly known by his web handle LimaZuluTango (LZT) – is a 37-year-old man from Sweden. He is a full-time student currently working towards a B.A. in Egyptology. A multi-faceted part-time maker, LZT has a background in blacksmithing, woodworking, 3D printing, and content creation but with a focus on leatherworking.

He decided to focus more on crafting leather in the summer of 2019 when he got access to a small garage in his apartment building. Over several years LZT rebuilt the garage into a fully kitted-out leather crafting space to elevate his work. However, following acceptance into a university in a different part of Sweden, he was forced to move and leave his old shop behind.

Determined to keep making, he started working out of his living room instead, converting part of it into a home shop. While working from his home, LZT is actively hunting for a dedicated space to continue his growth as a maker.

He specializes in handmade leather goods and personal accessories like wallets, card holders, passport sleeves, and the like. But he also takes on the occasional special order. These unique projects have included backpacks, masks, plenty of hats, quivers, and many more. His capacity within leatherworking has expanded to laser engraving, dyeing, and much more.

  • No. Vegan leather is predominantly made from plastic byproducts and lacks the quality and durability of real leather.

  • No, this is a pet peeve of LZT's. "Genuine Leather" is a quality designation and it's not a good one.

  • Theoretically forever, although it will depend on use and care of the product.

  • Yes.

  • Each item has a lead time of approximately 2 weeks. Commission items may take longer depending on the work required.

  • Yes, we offer laser engraving to add personalisation to your leather product. This is charged as an optional extra determined by the size of the item.

  • As all products are made to order according to customer specification, we do not accept returns. This is inline with European Union policies on returns and refunds.

  • 1. Keep out of direct sunlight/heat

    2. Clean leather with a soft microfiber cloth

    3. Use a leather conditioner, such as a moisturising leather lotion from Saphir.

    4. Keep away from moisture.

    5. Be careful not to overstuff wallets as this will put undue strain on leather and stitching.

This must be done as soon as possible - if production on your order has started then we will not be able to make your requested changes.

  • If you need to change your shipping address, please contact LZT at longnoseleather@gmail.com. You can change this at anytime before the shipping date.

  • We match the photos on the website as much as possible, but as is the nature of working with natural products, slight natural variations in the leather do occur. We do our best to avoid using any pieces with flaws and imperfections.

  • Shipping internationally varies from country to country, but on average packages are received within 1-2 weeks from shipping.
